"The game was great!" Culkin said. "They played great and so was the atmosphere. I always have fun when I go to Bulls games."
The local prospect that plays just over the bridge has taken notice of how well the Bulls have been playing this season.
"They're undefeated, and that's just awesome," said Culkin. "I think they're really playing well and I'm excited to see how they finish in the BIG EAST."
Culkin is a 6-foot-6, 210 pound standout tight end for Golden Eagles and paid close attention to how the Bulls use their tight ends in their offense.
"I liked seeing how they use their tight ends," said Culkin."Whether it be blocking, a play action pass or by flexing them out."
While at the game Culkin enjoyed spending time with the Bulls coaching staff
"I talked with Coach Vass, Coach Scott and Coach McGeoghan," said Culkin. "I have developed a great relationship with Coach Vass over the past year and me and Coach Scott have started to talk more. I really like him as a coach too."
The 3-star prospect rated the 53rd tight end in the country who just received an offer from UCF to put him at 7, says the Bulls are on the verge of extended a scholarship.
"Coach Holtz is calling me this week, and I think they're going to offer me a grey shirt," said Culkin. "They're tight on scholarships and that's why they have to go with the grey shirt option."
With new offers coming in, Culkin believes he's close to receiving a few more, including one from another in-state school.
"Yeah a few are close," said Culkin. "I think UF is one guy (Kent Taylor) away from offering."
At this time, Culkin isn't quite ready to name a favorite or list his top schools while he's waiting to see what schools do extend offers.
"I'm still not sure on whom I should publicly announce as my list of top schools," said Culkin. "But I'll be putting one out soon."
The hometown Bulls are definitely on Culkin's radar and the local prospect says what keeps him interested in USF.
"They have great football coaches and a winning program," said Culkin. "They're also close to my home where my family and friends can watch me play by just crossing the bridge."
As to official visits, Culkin has just one scheduled to Iowa State on Nov. 5, but is beginning to try and figure the rest out.
"I've just got the one set right now and I'm in the process of setting up other officials," said Culkin. "I thought about ones to UCF and to Georgia. USF talked to me about one also. But I'm really not sure right now."
Right now Culkin doesn't have a timetable as to when he'll be making his decision, but does know what factors are the most important to him in doing so.
"I'm looking at the football program, campus, position coach," said Culkin. "Also just how comfortable I feel there."
For now Culkin is enjoying the recruiting process, but doesn't want to let it get to his head.
"There's no doubt that it's exciting. I'm loving it, I really I am," said Culkin. "But I can't let it get ahead of my senior season. That's number one right now."
