With the Bulls set to open the 2011-12 basketball season against Vermont this Saturday, USF Head Coach Stan Heath spoke with USFNation.com prior to the season opener.

Coach talks about the start of the season, saying the team is a work in progress, but it's a god team, a fun team to coach and have a lot of chemistry that was built this offseason with the new facilities and boot camp playing a big role. Saying the facilities are now a great home base for the players to work in, hang out in and bond together.

Heath talks about what he learned from the exhibition game, saying the executed well, and the intensity was there. Saying he was elated that the point guards didn't turn the ball over, but didn't like the free throw shooting during the game, but it's an area that is fixable.

Coach likes what he sees out of this year's team and is excited to tip off the season and talks about what to expect in the opener against Vermont, and more.
