USF Mens BBall faces Old Dominion

The 3-0 USF men's basketball team hits the road for the first time this season as it heads to Connecticut for round three of the Naismith Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic. The Bulls will face Old Dominion at 2 p.m. this Saturday.

The 3-0 USF men's basketball team hits the road  for the first time this season as it heads to Connecticut  for round three of the Naismith Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic.
The Bulls will face Old Dominion at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 and will face either Kentucky or Penn State on Sunday, Nov. 20.


Bulls last outing vs Florida Southern

-USF recorded back-to-back double-digit wins for the first time since Nov. 21 and 23 during the 2010-11 season.

-USF posted its largest margin of victory (30) since Dec. 29, 2008 with a win against Winston-Salem (87-48).

 

-USF's bench of Nash, Fitzpatrick, Robertson and Damour accounted for 37 of the team's 73 points (50.7 %).

-USF's 12 blocks rank as the third highest single-game total in program history.
-Forward Augustus Gilchrist recorded a career-high six blocks to move his season total to 11 - which is tops in the BIG EAST through Nov. 15.

-Gilchrist extended his double-digit scoring streak to 10-straight games (dating back to last season)

- Anderson Jr., recorded game-high 11 rebounds

- Fitzpatrick scored a season-high 12 points in 62.5 percent shooting from the field ... first double-digit scoring effort since Feb. 9, 2011.

- Nash reached double figures for the second-straight game with season-high 13 points.
