Bulls Land Second Hoops Commit of the Day

USF basketball keeps it hot as Head coach Stan Heath picked up his 2nd commitment of the day from Zach LeDay a power forward from The Colony HS in Texas. The 6-foot-7, 218 pound prospect visted USF this past weekend, and committed to the Bulls shortly after his official visit to Tampa.

Stan Heath keeps the recruiting momentum going as he received his second hoops commit for the class of 2012 when Zach LeDay, committed after returning home from his official visit to Tampa.

The 6-foot-7, 218 pound power forward has averaged 21.1 points per game, 7.7 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, 1.5 steals per game, so far this season. He chose USF over offers from Missouri, Vanderbilt, Fresno State, and George Mason, among others.

"I chose South Florida because I liked the atmosphere, and the new facilities," said LeDay. "Also how real the coaching staff has been with me since they started recruiting me"

The 6'7, 218 pound forward plays his prep ball at the Colony HS in TX and plays AAU with the Dallas Mustangs along with teammate DeMarcus Holland, who committed earlier in the day.

This is Stan Heath's fifth commit for the 2012 class, joining Demarcus Holland, Javontae Hawkins, Waverly Austin and Musa Abdul-Aleem to make up their current class.
