With the Big East slate finally released on Tuesday, USF has announced the complete 2012 schedule.
The Bulls open the year on Saturday, Sept. 1, against UT-Chattanooga at home, then travel to Reno, Nev. to face the Nevada on Saturday, Sept. 8.
The race for the 2012 BIG EAST football title for USF begins early and is tentatively on Saturday, Sept. 15 against Rutgers, but the game could be switched to Thursday to accommodate ESPN.
USF then goes on the road against Ball St. on Saturday, Sept. 22 and then return home for huge in-state match-up versus Florida State on Saturday, Sept. 29. The last time these two met, USF beat FSU, 17-7 at Doak Campbell Stadium.
The Bulls then resume conference play when they travel to Philadelphia, Pa. to take on new BIG EAST foe Temple on Saturday, Oct. 6. After bye week, USF goes on the road again to face Louisville on Sat., Oct. 20.
After another bye week, the Bulls hit the road to take on Miami on Saturday, Nov. 17. The last two match-ups between the two was decided by three points with the USF falling 6-3 in 2011 and the Bulls winning 23-20 in overtime in 2010. USF then finishes up it's road schedule at Cincinnati on Friday, Nov.
USF finishes the regular season at home against Pittsburgh on Saturday, Dec. 1 as part of Championship Week as the league's eight schools battle for the title and Bowl Championship Series berth.
