USF freshman Mattias Ciabatt, who was listed as the No. 1 punter on the first depth chart of the spring is excited, but knows the battle is far from over. Ciabbati talks about his redshirt year, how it helped, getting listed as the starter, the battle to keep it and more.

After two weeks of practice redshirt freshman Mattias Ciabatti was listed as the No. 1 punter ahead of the incumbent vet Justin Brockhaus-Kann on the first  depth chart of the spring. Matias is excited, but knows the battle is far from over.

"I'm excited about being number one, but we're all competing and the first game is far away, so it doesn't mean that much right now," Ciabatti said. "We're going to competing until Sept. 1 and then we'll see, so I can't get too excited about it."

Ciabbati talks about his redshirt year, how it helped, getting listed as the starter, and the battle to keep it.
