The 6-foot-3, guard was selected to play in the 39th Capital Classic, a prestigious hoops event that has featured many Hall of Famers, and Cassell said how he felt to be in the game.
"It's an honor to compete in this game," said Cassell. "There have been a lot of former greats that played in it and it means a lot to me."
"I feel good about playing in it. I know a few of the guys playing in it and it should be a lot of fun," said Cassell. "It's been going good so far, and it's been very competitive."
While at Notre Dame Prep Cassell proved he can score averaging 22 points per game his a season high of 40, but can also get the ball to his teammates, averaging 6 assists per game, with season a high of 16 and has said he has a goal for the Classic.
"I want to break the assist record, which is 11," said Cassell.
The recruiting roller coaster for the standout guard will soon be over as Cassell said he'll announce his college choice this Saturday.
