As a junior, Woulard turned heads passing for over 1,600 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 600 yards and adding nine scores his first season at the helm. The 6-foot-4 and 205 pound quarterback used the offseason to improve his game.
"I've really grown a lot as a quarterback actually," said Woulard. "I'm seeing throws quicker, reading defenses better and being set when I throw the ball. I have a much better command of our offense."
Woulard received his first offer from USF, and then made an early commitment in February, only to open things back. Since then, schools have taken notice of Woulard this spring and his offer list grew considerably.
"Things are going well and I've gotten 16 offers," said Woulard. "I'm just waiting and trying to make the best decision."
With 16 offers in hand Woulard said a handful of them are talking to him the most.
With the spring evaluation period over, Woulard isn't expecting any new offers coming and now it's up to him to make his decision.
"No I'm not expecting any. I think it's pretty much done and over," said Woulard. "Now it's my job now to take it from here and make my decision."
Even though he hasn't ruled out any schools, Woulard said there are a few he's focusing on.
"USF, Ole Miss, those are pretty much the two I'm looking at the most. They both say I can come in early and play," said Woulard. "There are a few other schools also, actually all of them because I haven't eliminated anybody completely yet."
The 4-star quarterback talks about what keeps USF at the top of his list.
"They're young and don't have much depth at the quarterback position. They're also close to home, I wouldn't have to make much of an adjustment, and I already have a good relationship with the coaches."
"I talk the most with Coach Fitch, and he tells me that I can play early and make an impact as a freshman," said Woulard. "He also said I'm tailored for their offense and I'd be a great fit."
The duel-threat quarterback doesn't have any visits set up, but is planning to attend the Bulls camp coming up at the end of the month.
"I've talked to a few coaches about possible visits, but don't have any trips set up right now," said Woulard. "I'm definitely going to the USF Super Bull camp on the 23rd. I'm looking forward to that and can't wait to show how I've improved."
The former South Florida commitment said he plans to make his final decision soon.
"I want to narrow things down and make a choice by July," said Woulard. "I plan on narrowing things down really soon, within the next couple of days."
Woulard said he plans on considerably trimming his list before making his choice.
"I'm going to narrow it down to a top three schools," said Woulard. "USF and Ole Miss will definitely be there."
With a decision looming, Woulard said what he's looking at the most in helping with picking a school.
"The factors I'm looking at are playing time and the offense pretty much," said Woulard. "Also the academics, where I fit best, and a relationship with the coaching staff."
