"I went to Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, and Clemson," said Benjamin, who also recently visited UCF. "It was cool and a nice experience to see new schools and new places."

Benjamin also stopped by USF's Sunday Sling & Shoot on Sunday for a visit with the staff and also to cheer on his Team Tampa mates who were competing in the event.

"I wanted to come by a meet with the USF coaches and catch up with them," said Benjamin. "I also had to come by and see how my boys are doing in the tourney."

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver/athlete has over 40 offers but recently trimmed his list to a top five.

"Yes I recently trimmed my list to five, USF, Clemson, UCF, Vanderbilt, and Auburn," said Benjamin, who also said he was favoring three of those

"USF, UCF and Clemson are in my top three, they're in no particular order," said Benjamin. "After going on visits, seeing the schools and talking with the coaches, those are the programs that really fit me and my playing style.

Being on the campus at USF on Sunday, Benjamin, who said the Bulls are recruiting him as an athlete, talked about what keeps the Bulls among his leaders.

"Just the coaches, I really like them, and being the hometown team," said Benjamin. "Its home, and being close I can always go home to get something to eat and be able to see my friends and family. I know a lot of people there and have a good relationship."

Many of the Tampa prospects know each other and Benjamin is friends with several guys are ready on at USF as well as recruits who are considering the Bulls.

"Yeah that's always a good thing, because you never know. Two or three of us may end up here," said Benjamin.

After taking visits to all his top schools, Benjamin said he has set the date for when he plans to make his decision.
"I'm doing it on July 3rd," said Benjamin. "I'm just ready to get it out of the way."
