Hillsborough's Nigel Harris, a 3-star linebacker just finished helping lead his Tampa team to the IMG 7on7 title this past weekend.
"It feels real good to win it. Last year they came close and it feels great to bring the title back to Tampa," said Harris. "It was a fun experience, and it was great to go against top level competition."
On the recruiting front things are going well for the 6-foot-1, 197 pound outside linebacker that recorded 90 tackles and four sacks as a junior.
Harris has already been to Nashville, and said that visit gives the Commodores an edge.
"I been up to Vanderbilt and took a visit there. That school has been showing me a lot of love. It's a place that I could see myself playing at. Vandy is very prestigious and they're coming up big in sports. They also play in the SEC, and that's a great conference.
"I like Purdue and Indiana but I haven't been to either yet," said Harris. "I plan on going to see both in July. Arizona is in there to, and I may go see them this summer."
His July visits are very meaningful as Harris said he plans on making a decision very soon.
"I'll be making it soon," said Harris. "Sometime this month."Watch Video Highlights
