Kiski Guard Major Canady opens things back up

2013 combo guard Major Canady, who committed to Stan Heath and the Bulls has de-committed from USF and reopened his recruitment. The 6-foot-3 combo guard out of Kiski Prep's talks about his decision, and where the Bulls stand, and more.

Back in June Major Canady, a 6-foot-3 combo guard out of Kiski Prep in Saltsburg, PA gave Stan Heath and his staff a verbal pledge and on Saturday decided to open things back up.

"I don't know if you heard but I de-committed today," said Canady. "My family and I talked about it thought and thought I committed to early only after talking two visits," said Canady. "I just want to see what other opportunities come up, and reopen my recruiting to see what else comes along."

 "I thought I had a goods summer with a few break out games," said Canady. "I want to see what would have come of that, and I wouldn't know if I was still committed."

The 6-foot-3, 205 pound combo guard claimed offers from Duquesne, Massachusetts, Navy, Robert Morris, Cornell, Tulane, plus had high interests from Virginia Tech, Pitt, Stanford, Penn St., Tennessee, & UCONN, before decided to play for the Bulls.

 "I don't even know what offers I have or don't have right now," said Canady. "I don't have any favorites at this point, but the Bulls are still in the mix and I'm still considering them."
