With a plethora of major offers, Lamar Robbins chooses the University of South Florida on National Signing Day. He says he never let the recruiting process stress him out.
Robbins knew what he needed to do towards the end of the process. He decided to base his decision on what matters most to him.
"I am a mama's boy," said Robbins. "My mother is the blood in my body."
He admitted that he needed her to be at every home game and all the in-state away games. Robbins said she doesn't like to fly, so being close was extremely important in his switch from Louisville to USF.
Although Robbins said Coach Willie Taggart was great, his decision was based solely on his family.
"Family matters most in my future and in football. I would've gotten a quality education anywhere I would've chosen. Family is what makes the difference."
