Local CB Abraham meets with Bulls new staff

East Lake's standout Devin Abraham received an early offer from USF, and on Sunday took a trip to Tampa to meet with Coach Taggart and his new staff. Check out the latest on the 5'10 and 170-pound local defensive back

Tampa, Fl.-- With six offers already on the table, East Lake defensive back Devin Abraham is eager to begin visiting potential schools. His first visit was today at USF's Junior Day.

Abraham headed to the Bullpen with 2015 East Lake athlete George Campbell and 2014 Jesuit linebacker Vincent Jackson. Although several of the Junior Day attendees visited USF for the first time today, Abraham said this visit was nothing new.

"It was my first time meeting everyone besides Coach (Willie) Taggart and Woody," said Abraham. "I met Coach Taggart and Coach Woody a month or so ago when they came by my school and re-offered. So, we didn't talk too much today, but we checked in with each other. The main purpose of today, for me, was to meet the new coaching staff."

Abraham said that he likes how Taggart and his staff is trying to keep Tampa boys at home and trying to rebuild the program that way. He also said his potential college team has to make him feel like family.

Although Abraham does not have an official offer from Duke, he is taking a visit with his family on March 1st to see the campus and facilities.
