Price Poised For Big Season

With Coach Taggart's strategy of using the tight end as an immense part of the offense, Bulls standout tight end Sean Price is ready to break out

After a stellar prep career and a Under Armour All American invite, Sean Price is ready to break out of his shell as a Sophomore. Price, who started all twelve games last year, started showing glimpses week 7 on why he received glamorous offers from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Miami, Oklahoma and others, hauling in his first career catch and touchdown on the road at Louisville. Price then polished off the season on the receiving end of 21 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown.

With Price being so versatile and being able to play on several different parts of the field, his athleticism and skill set goes hand and hand with Coach Taggart's strategy of using the tight end. Taggart's tight ends have been an immense part of the offense, leading his air attack the last two seasons in receptions. Price can see himself filling that role for a 3rd straight season under Taggart's tutelage. "Of course, I mean if the opportunity comes, I will definitely take it, I will not hesitate."

In today's game with tight ends splitting out and creating mismatches, Price thinks it won't be a challenge and can adjust promptly. "No, it doesn't make it more challenging , it definitely makes it more fun, it makes you feel more versatile, more like an receiver, more like an athlete, rather than an attached lineman, but we do get down and play lineman as well. It does make it feel a lot better doing all that motion and stuff as well. I can adjust to it, it doesn't bother me at all."
