South Florida LB Commit Visiting Marshall

With months until National Signing Day,USF linebacker commit Francisco Hernandez is still solid to the Bulls, but is taking an official visit to a C-USA school in early September.

With many twists and turns throughout the recruitment process for several young men around the country, you can never be sure what the lasting outcome could be. That's the case with 2014 Largo (Fl.) South Florida commit, Francisco Hernandez. With Hernandez giving his pledge to Coach Taggart and the Bulls in March, that doesn't mean coaches are going to stop pursuing the versatile linebacker.

While Hernandez states he's still committed to South Florida, he's also set up an official visit for Marshall, Sept. 7th vs. Gardner-Webb.

"I'm still committed to South Florida, they're still my number one school. I just think it's the smart way to handle my recruitment, you just never know what could happen," Hernandez told "This way I have something to fall back on in case something ever happened."

Hernandez has no exact date set to visit the Bulls as of right now, but that doesn't mean he won't be up in Tampa in the near future. "I don't have a date set up right now, but I'm going to try to get up there real soon," said Hernandez. "But yeah I'm still committed to South Florida."
