USF Turning The Heat Back Up On Knox

After decommiting from the Florida Gators last night, Deland (FL) offensive lineman, Ben Knox, has heard from schools all throughout the country, trying to get back into his recruitment to secure his services along their future offensive line. USFNation.com caught up with Knox on the latest with his recruitment after opening things up.

Deland (FL) offensive lineman, Ben Knox (6'5 265), has decommitted from the University Of Florida as of last night. With several reports surfacing around his recruitment and his future plans, USFNation.com caught up with star out of Central Florida for the latest.

"It was a lack of communication," Knox told USFNation.com. "I haven't talked to them in a month, so I didn't know if they were recruiting me or not. It started making me think."

Knox, who's currently, ranked the 28th best offensive tackle in the country by Fox Sports Next, will have several coaches flocking to Deland High school in the near future in hopes of securing his services among their offensive line.

As of right now, two schools are thickly back in the race for Knox.

"Right now, Louisville," Knox said. "They were my second. South Florida, I just talked to them last night, they're my third. My recruiting coach is Stu Holt. He completely understood and said I should do the best for me. He said just know that we're here for you and I could call him anytime. They really want me to go there."

As of right now, Ben has no itinerary set for any future visits, but does have a timetable for his decision

"No, I haven't set any visits yet," Knox said. "I plan on making my decision in mid to late January though."
