At the moment, Atterbury holds offers from Cincinnati and Florida International and is receiving ascending interest from North Carolina State, Virginia, Miami (FL), Florida State, Louisville and South Florida.
Over the weekend, Atterbury attended to the South Florida game when they hosted the instate Miami Hurricanes and USFNation.com spoke with Atterbury on his time spent in Tampa Bay.
"I've been there for all of their home games so far," Atterbury said. "I also visited there over the summer for their freshman practice before they got put in with the rest of the guys. It was really nice to meet all of the coaching stuff. They're a bunch of really good coaches and they haven't had the best start to the season, but I think they're going to get it turned around."
When Atterbury's around the Bulls program, coach Taggart and company have relayed a simple message to the Clearwater big man.
"Since they haven't had the best of luck to the start of the season, they've (coaches) said up front, you know why we want you and we'd love to have you," Atterbury said.
As for visits, Atterbury's itinerary for the next week is jam-packed.
"Next week we have a bye week and we don't have school on Wednesday," Atterbury said. "I'm leaving on Wednesday until Sunday to see N.C State, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Maryland and I'll be seeing the Maryland and Virginia game on Saturday."
As of right now, Atterbury has list of five schools that are standing out.
"They're not in any order, but a top five would be Miami, Louisville, N.C State, Virginia and USF."
