Aside from the loss, the Bulls had some bright spots on the afternoon as well. One of those bright spots was star senior linebacker, DeDe Lattimore.
The captain of the defense recorded his first two sacks of the season and finished with four tackles overall. The sacks were for a 11-yard loss in the first quarter and a 13-yard loss in the second. Those sacks on Saturday gave Lattimore 15 on his career and is good for 7th on the USF career charts passing Chris Daley and Greg Walls.
Lattimore also recorded three tackle for loss, which ties his career high he set against Rutgers in 2011. The linebacker from Athens, GA. leads the Bulls in 2013 with 60 tackles on the year.
With that being said, USFNation has awarded Lattimore with the game ball of the week for his performance against the Louisville Cardinals.
