USF Keeping Tabs On Lynn Haven WR

Standing at 6-foot-5, 180-pounds, Lynn Haven standout Nat Dixon provides quarterbacks with a big target to throw to at the wide receiver position. caught up with the lengthy pass catcher for the latest in his recruitment.

Nat Dixon, an under the radar wide receiver prospect from Lynn Haven (Fla.) Mosley High School, provides the Dolphins' offense with a matchup nightmare and red zone target at 6-foot-5, 180-pounds. So far, the lengthy pass catcher has racked up 911 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns in 2013.

Those imposing numbers have led the senior to offers from Maryland, Northern Arizona, Jacksonville State, Elon, Western Kentucky, Florida A&M, Wofford and Tennessee State. One school that's keeping tabs on Dixon is the South Florida Bulls.

"I love the campus (USF)," Dixon said. "So far, the coaches have been great! The coaches said the need a big receiver - so hopefully an offer could come. We speak a few times a week and they said they really like me. If they pull the trigger, it would put them at the top."

The Lynn Haven star is set to see one school this weekend, but has two other schools he's hoping to check out in the near future.

"I don't have them lined up yet, but I know two that I for sure want to visit and it's WKU and USF," Dixon said. "I'm taking an unofficial to Florida State on Saturday."

Mosley hosts Panama City (Fla.) Bay High School on Friday evening at 7:00 PM.
