Offer Would Push USF Into Robinson's Top 3

2015 Hialeah (Fla.) Champagnat Catholic defensive back Gerald Robinson Jr. currently holds two offers and is receiving heavy interest from numerous schools, including the South Florida Bulls.

Hialeah (Fla.) Champagnat Catholic junior defensive back Gerald Robinson Jr. and his team have a chance to do something very memorable for their program in 2013. Will talent filled from top to bottom, Robinson is looking to close out his junior campaign with a state championship ring on his finger.

"As a team, we're doing really good," Robinson said. "It's the third time our team has made the playoffs. We have a chance to go to states this year. Individually, I've been done fine. I have two interceptions. I don't know how many tackles I have, but it's plenty, though."

In the recruiting process, Robinson holds two early offers from UCF and Kentucky and is fielding interest from Louisville, South Florida, Vanderbilt and Miami.

Robinson hopes to add his second instate offer from the Bulls. The Hialeah star has always had a sweet spot for the program residing Tampa Bay.

"Actually, my auntie went to school there," Robinson said. "I've always been liking the Bulls a lot. I talked to the coaches and they wrote me. They told me to stay focused and they hope I'll be a Bull in the future. I've always been a USF fan."

Two schools are in line to receive visits from Robinson in the near future.

"I want to go to USF for a game at the end of the year, and to UCF as well," Robinson said.

Robinson states that he has no leaders, but if the Bulls pull the trigger with an offer, it could get interesting.

"Hopefully I get a USF offer," Robinson said. "They'll definitely be in my top three."
