Visit Pushes USF Out Front For Hill

Over the weekend, Fort Scott defensive lineman Demetrius Hill took a visit to the Sunshine State to check out the South Florida Bulls and came away very impressed. How high on his list are the Bulls?

Over the weekend, Fort Scott's accomplished defensive lineman Demetrius Hill traveled south to the Sunshine State to inquire about Willie Taggart's South Florida Bulls on an official visit.

"I got in around four or five in the afternoon on Friday," Hill said. "We went out to eat and I loved the coaching staff. I was at the hotel with them (team) the night before the game. I'm real cool with the coaches and the players. They really made me feel like home. The players pretty much told me exactly how it's going to be."

With official visits to Baylor on Dec. 6 and California on Dec. 13, does the Junior-College star have a leader in the his recruitment?

"If I had to sign today, I would be signing with USF."

On the season, the 6-foot-3, 245-pound defensive lineman has 61 tackles, 5.5 sacks and three forced fumbles for the Greyhounds.

Hill plans to make a decision shortly after his last official visit on Dec. 13.
