The Naples, Fla. native leads the country with four field goals made from over 50 yards or more, and has connected on nine field goals from 40 yards plus.
With the offense struggling throughout the transition of Willie Taggart's new offense, Kloss has accounted for 41.4% of the Bulls' points in 2013 and has been named the AAC Player of the Week twice this season. Kloss also ranks 16th in the nation with 1.56 field goals made per game.
Competing for the prestigious award along with Kloss will be Florida State's Robert Agauyo and Texas' Anthony Fera. The Bulls' kicker will attend the Lou Groza Award banquet in West Palm Beach on Dec. 10 and Kloss will be joined by head coach Willie Taggart at Disney on Dec. 12 for the announcement of the winner.
