Junior-College Tight End Commits to USF!

On Thursday afternoon, coach Taggart and the South Florida Bulls picked up their 19th commitment of the 2014 class with Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior-College tight end, Marlon Pope!

Coach Willie Taggart and the South Florida Bulls received fantastic news Thursday afternoon with the commitment of Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior-College tight end, Marlon Pope.

"They (USF) treat me like family," Pope said. "I love the surroundings, coaches, players and the playbook. It's time to go to work."

Adding the 6-foot-4, 270-pound tight end to the Bulls' roster will be much needed for Willie Taggart's pro-style attack. Pope provides an extra big body upfront in the trenches and will strengthen Walt Wells' running attack.

"I'm going to be used all over the field," Pope said. "We are trying to be a big offensive team."

Pope is the Bulls' 19th commitment for the class of 2014.
