"It was great," Ayeni told Trey Scott of AllCyclones.com. "[Iowa State] has opportunity, history, they're a well-known school and they're in the Big 12. This weekend I'll find out what else I can like about them. So far, I like everything about them."
A school that's sparked Ayeni's interest as of late is the South Florida Bulls, who'll have the last opportunity to dazzle the defensive lineman before he inks his signature on Feb. 5 for National Signing Day.
"Yeah, on the 31st I'm going to take a trip down to South Florida," Ayeni said. "They're trying to build a team that competes in that conference. They play some big schools and they brought in some JUCO guys that I've played against. I've done my research and they're pretty good. I like that they're trying to build a winning program. Their coaches are pretty cool and I like some of the stuff they have over there from a education standpoint."
With two visits still to go, Ayeni isn't quite ready to name a leader in his recruitment.
"Right now, I like every school that I'm speaking with," Ayeni said. "I won't know until the last week of recruiting who my top school is and everything."
