Bulls Extend Offer to Barr

South Florida Bulls' wide receiver coach, Ron Dugans, extended an offer to one of the better junior prospects in the Jacksonville area on Monday morning.

Already possessing offers from the likes of Memphis, Purdue, Utah, Troy and UAB, Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian athlete, Chris Barr, has picked up his first instate offer on Monday morning. The South Florida Bulls took a three-and-a-half hour trip up to Jacksonville and offered one of the better junior prospects in Duval County.

"Coach Ron Dugans (wide receivers) came in and we joked around for awhile," Barr said. "After that, he said he offered me."

The versatile athlete accounted for 722 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns, while averaging a sensational 17.4 yards on punt returns for a Trinity Christian team that won a Florida 3-A State Championship in 2013.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete isn't too familiar with Willie Taggart's program, but is eager to learn more in the near future.

"I really don't know too much about the Bulls," Barr said. "I'm looking forward to learn more about them, though. I know the long snapper, David Burdetsky. He is from Trinity Christian."

The dynamic athlete reports a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash and is being recruited as an athlete by the South Florida Bulls.
