Bearcats Win Fourteenth Consecutive Game

The South Florida bulls scored a season-low 45 points on Saturday afternoon, losing to the No. 13 Cincinnati Bearcats inside Fifth Third Arena by the score of 50-45.

Cincinnati, OH.--The South Florida Bulls (11-11, 2-7) scored a season-low 45 points in a losing effort on Saturday afternoon against the No. 13 Cincinnati Bearcats (21-2, 10-0).

In the 50-45 loss inside Fifth Third Arena, the Bulls also scored a season-low 18 points in the first half, but the Bearcats' 50 points is the lowest point total by a Bulls' opponent all season.

The conference's leading scorer, Sean Kilpatrick, led the Bearcats with 18 points, while Justin Jackson chipped in with 15 points, six rebounds, two steals and three blocks as well.

Both teams struggled shooting the ball on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls shot 38.8 percent (19-49) from the field and nine percent (1-11) from three-point range, while the Bearcats didn't do much better. Cincinnati shot 33.3 percent (17-51) and 23.5 percent (4-17) from downtown.

Chris Perry led South Florida with 13 points, seven rebounds and a block on 6-of-8 shooting, while Victor Rudd chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds as well.

Cincinnati remains unbeaten at home and in American Athletic Conference play. For USF, they'll be traveling to UCF on Wednesday to square-off against the Knights at 7:00 PM.
