Arnold talks summer plans

Mike Arnold has a long list of offers and he's still hoping to add a few more this summer. The 2015 two-way lineman has a few camps and unofficial visits planned for this summer.

"I haven't been anywhere yet, but I'm planning on going to Auburn, sometime at the end of this month," Mike Arnold said of his summer visits.

"They say Auburn is just a great place, so I just want to check it out for myself."

Florida is another stop on the 6-foot-5, 292-pound lineman's list. He'll be at the Gators camp Friday and is hoping to earn an offer.

"I want to just go there and enjoy myself, have fun, do the drills right and all that stuff," he said.

"I want to really show them that my feet are like a ballerina."

Florida State and Georgia are also on his visit wish-list for the summer. He'll see what new offers he picks up, then go from there.

"I'm going to end up probably narrowing everything down by the end of July. I'll probably have everything down pat," he said.

"I just want to see the schools and see what my options are."

Virginia Tech is a school to keep an eye on for Arnold. The Hokies have offered and he's visited once and plans to return soon. The Miami Hurricanes could be another favorite.

"Miami, I'm supposed to go to one of their camps, I don't know the date yet or anything though," he said.

Arnold hopes to reach a decision sooner rather than later and he'll be keeping in mind a few things as he evaluates his options.

"If I go far, I need to know if I'll have tickets for my mom to come up, and then the coaching staff, being around the team, a great atmosphere (are what I'm looking for)," he said.
