Matt Grothe is a quarterback prospect that signed with the South Florida Bulls this past February. Grothe, 6-1 and 190 pounds, was a first team All-State pick as a junior, and senior, and led his team to the Class 4A state title game. Grothe had 2,700 yards passing and 1,500 yards rushing. He threw for 33 touchdowns and ran for 15 more. As a junior he passed for 2,004 yards, 25 passing Touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns. He was Class 4A Player if the year and finalist for Florida's Mr. Football. Here are some of his senior year highlights.
