DeAndre Morgan Talks Recruiting

Morgan a 3 star all-around speedster, talks to USFnation about recruiting and gives his thoughts on USF.

DeAndre Morgan is one of the fastest players in the state running a recorded, 4.26 40 time. He may also be familiar to Bulls fans because he is the brother of Darren Halliburton. Morgan plays S/WR/CB at Suncoast High School in Riviera Beach Florida. Last season he had an 11.8 yards/carry average at running back and 4 picks on defense. As far as where he wants to play in college, he is concentrating more on the defensive side of the ball.

Recently USFnation.com caught up with DeAndre to talk recruiting.

USFnation: How's season going?
DeAndre Morgan: right now pretty good, we had a rough start,we're 0-2 but looking to capitalize over the next couple of games. Personally I have 10 tackles, 7 solo. They don't throw the ball to my side, that's what I tell the scouts Then the scouts tell me "I wouldn't throw the ball to your side either , you run a 4.26", but its still frustrating.

USFN: how many offers you got so far?

USFN: who is in your top 5?

USFN: how do you feel about USF?
DM: they are a real competitive program, now there in the big east so we'll see how good they really are.

USFN: would playing with your brother factor in your decision?
DM: It would but we would only play together one year if I came, but I also have a brother at NC State, Dajuan Morgan.

USFN: when are you going to make a decision?
DM: probably make that decision on signing day, I'm taking all my visits, I have 4 visits set right now, then I'm going to weigh out my options.
