USFNation.com Staff gives out Game Balls for the South Florida Bulls 15-10 dissapointing loss to the Connecticut Huskies. Which ended any hopes for a BCS Bowl bid.

USFNation's BeachsideBull's Game Balls

First Ball: The Bulls defense led by Terrence Royal, Ben Moffitt, Patrick St. Louis, and Stephen Nicholas: except for the third play from scrimage, a 60 yard TD run by UCONN's Lou Allen for a 7-0 Huskie lead. which was also the Huskies only offensive points. The defense was solid, holding the Huskies to 241 yards of total offense, and just 90 yards of offense after the 1st quarter.

Second Ball: The Weather: There was snow and ice surrounding the field, and the temperature was a bitter 33 degrees at kick-off, and dropped into the twentys shortly after. None of the South Florida Bulls will use the weather a an excuse. However, I was at the game, and it was very cold, the kind of cold that makes your fingers and toes hurt and go numb, and with all the dropped balls and turnovers (especially Amarri Jackson's fumble). There is no doubt that the weather was a big factor.

Third Ball: Connecticut Huskie CB Darius Butler: This import from Tamarac Florida, Had 4 kick returns for 148 yards, including the back-breaking 90 yard game winning kick-off return, which came directly after the Bulls took their only lead of the game. He also had an interception, which he then fumbled, but took the bulls out of scoring position..
