Hall one of Eight Bulls on All-Big East Team

USF running back Andre Hall has been named to the all-Big East first team, the league announced today. He is joined by seven USF teammates on the second team. Offensive linemen Frank Davis, John Miller and Thed Watson, plus cornerback Mike Jenkins, safety Johnnie Jones, linebacker Stephen Nicholas and defensive end Terrence Royal are all on the second team.

(December 7, 2005) Andre Hall, a senior from St. Petersburg, Fla., is USF's all-time leading rusher and he has 1,256 rushing yards this season, heading into the Meineke Car Care Bowl. He is also USF's leading receiver this year with 24 catches for 272 yards. He has 15 touchdowns, including 13 on the ground and two through the air.

Frank Davis, John Miller and Thed Watson each played a significant role on USF's offensive line that held the Big East's top five sack leaders to no sacks in games against the Bulls. Those top five sack leaders, including Big East Defensive Player of the Year Elvis Dumervil, went without a sack against USF.

Davis, from The Republic of Panama, and Miller, from Belle Glade, Fla., are seniors, while Watson, who is Hall's first cousin, is a junior from St. Petersburg.

Mike Jenkins, a sophomore from Bradenton, Fla., has 36 tackles and two interceptions this season, while Johnnie Jones, a senior from Sarasota, Fla., has 52 tackles, two interceptions and a touchdown to his credit.
