Leavitt Offers Hermann

Coach Jim Leavitt was busy today in Pinellas County. The latest update comes from East Lake High School where Coach met with offensive lineman Zack Hermann for over an hour. The meeting was a good one and ended with an offer for Hermann to play for USF. Read on to find out what the big man thought of the meeting and what other team also spent time with him today.

The last stop today on Leavitt's tour of Pinellas county was East Lake High School where he met with offensive lineman Zach Hermann. Herman is a 6-foot-1 310 pound OL/DL, he recently played in the Pinellas County where USFnation caught up with him and he told us he did not have an offer but was interested in USF. Well, today he got the offer he had been waiting for. Although he did not commit he was still happy about receiving the offer.

"I met with Coach Leavitt today for about an hour." Adding, "by the end of the meeting he offered me a full scholarshtip."

Where was the visit?

"It was in my coaches office. My mom, dad and coach were all there."

Where you close to committing?

"No, not really. I like USF a lot but I want to check out a few other schools to make sure I'm doing the right thing, but its pretty awesome I got the offer today."

Who else visited you today?

"Right after coach Leavitt left I met with a coach from NCState."

Do you have a top 3?

"Right now I only have two schools I'm really considering, USF and NC State."

Is one ahead of the other?

"I would say they are about even. Actually right now USF is probably a little bit ahead because I know more about them."

What visits do you have set so far?

"I visit USF on January 14th, NC State on the 20th and maybe Louisville on 7th of January."

How are your grades?

"I have a 3.1, but this semester I got 5 A's and a B. My SAT score was a 1060."
