For years the strength of the Bulls defense has been at linebacker. This year was no exception Ben Moffitt, Patrick St. Louis and Stephen Nicholas were not only great on the field but also great leaders. That is something Sabbath Joseph feels he could bring in the future. The 5-foot-11, 215 pound linebacker out of Miami Central High School dominated his senior year with 85 tackles, 7 sacks, 12 forced fumbles and a defensive score. He has offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Mississippi, Rutgers and South Florida.

"My top 5 would be (in no order) USF, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Rutgers and Florida State. As of now I don't have an offer from Florida State."

He also says he doesn't have a leader because he's waiting to take a couple visits. The first visit will be to USF on the 13th of January, then Arizona State on the 20th and he finishes with Ole Miss on the 27th.

When Joseph makes his visit to the Bulls he'll also be there to see a couple friends.

"I'm good friends with Courtney Denson and Anthony Gaines. They already told me I'll have a good time in Tampa, but I also want to see the academic side. I'm going to be a Broadcasting major, so I need to find out about what they have to offer.

Getting along with the players is only one factor to his decision. Joseph says he wants to go to a school where he knows he will contribute. He also must be in a town that he can see himself living for four years.

"I've been following USF pretty much all season. Actually after I saw them beat Louisville, it really opened my eyes to the program."

Joseph told USFnation that he's anxious to start taking visits, and a decision will come once he's through with his final visit. However, he said he's not going to make it public until signing day.
