Glover:'USF Is Head-To-Head With Miss. St.'

3 star linebacker and Mississippi commit LaBrandon Glover has a lot to think about after his visit to South Florida. He rated his visit a perfect 10, but find out if it was enough to drop his commitment to Miss. State. Read on for the entire story.

LaBrandon Glover is from Pensacola High School, the 6-foot-1, 215 pound linebacker was pretty sure about his future, but after a visit to South Florida things may be up in the air. Now he is torn between two schools, one is to the West of him, Mississippi State. The other to the East, USF. After making his visit, which he rated a perfect 10, the three star linebacker admits he has a lot of thinking to do before signing day.

"USF showed me a great time." Glover added, "Man, I like it down there! The coaches, the players, the environment. I like the city, the campus and the fact that they are an up-and-coming program."

Glover told USFnation.com he is still committed to Mississippi State, but says he was surprised the Bulls made such an impact on him.

"I'm still committed, but right now USF is head-to-head with Mississippi State. I still have one more visit to them (Miss. St.) and then my final visit is to Illinois, but I probably won't know where I'm going until I wake up on the morning of signing day."

Glover said he was excited about USF from the moment he got there.

"The first thing they did when I got there was explain the playing time situation to me. Basically in a year or two the linebacker position is going to be a wide-open competition. I liked that because I know I can come in and make a huge impact. That conversation right there got me thinking about what it would be like to play at USF."

USF obviously closed the gap with the official visit. However, it will be a fight to the end between these two schools. Stay with USFnation.com for the latest on LaBrandon Glover.
