Edner Alcin a 6-foot-1, 177 pound, wide receiver from Chamberlain HS, in Tampa, Fla., has taken his first official visit to South Florida.
"It was a nice visit. I had fun. The campus is close to my home, so I am real familiar with what they have to offer," Alcin said.
Alcin was scheduled to visit West Virginia this past weekend and Central Florida next weekend, but his visit plans have were altered after a talking with the coaches
"I did not make my trip to West Virginia, Alcin explained. "West Virginia was in last week and they asked me to reschedule for this weekend. They said that they have an offer for me there if I make the visit."
"Right now I am scheduled to visit Central Florida next weekend. I will have to sit down this week and decide the best thing to do. It is going to be hard."
"I would say right now that it is open between all of the schools. I think it is going to go all the way down to the wire."
