Leslie Stirrups had offers from UF, FSU, USF and Ole Miss, but in the end he decided to stay home and play for South Florida. Stirrups was one of the most dominating player at his position in the entire state. His senior season he compiled quite a stat line; 67 tackles, 4 sacks, and 6 tackles for losses. All this while receiving extra attention from opposing teams.
"I like the program and I like the fact I get to play in front of my mom and family." Said Stirrups.
However, there is still one last hurddle before Stirrups can suit up in Green and Gold. He has a ways to go on grades, its still early but it looks like he will have to either go JUCO or prep school. USFnation.com will follow up with Stirrups later in the year.
