That's a Wrap!

The 6-foot-3 220 pound defensive end from Milton High School signed his Letter of Intent today and will be attending the University of South Florida. His signing also signified the end of signing day for USF. The '06 class is now signed, sealed and delivered!

He chose South Florida over Middle Tennessee State, Louisiana-Lafayette, FAMU, and Tulane. Smiley who was a three-year Letterman at Milton HS, was named Second Team All-State, played in the Regional All-Star Game and the All-State All-Star North-South Game. He was also selected as a Santa Rosa Super Senior.

Head football coach Mike McMillion who coached Smiley since ninth grade said " he's a wonderful kid who carries himself well, and has no baggage" he added " He is a solid player, and with his great dimensions, he can get as big as he wants to."

Josh Smiley on why he chose USF?
"I really liked everything about the school, the campus and the coaches. Also, my education had a big factor in it, and when it came down to it this is where I wanted to spend the next 3 to 4 years"
