Alton Voss Lists USF as a Favorite

With the '06 class behind us, will start focusing on next year's class. We begin with local QB Alton Voss from Gulf High School in New Port Richey.

One of the top quarterback prospects that attended the U.S. Army National Combine in early January was Alton Voss, a 6-foot-3, 212-pounder, from Gulf High in New Port Richey, Florida.

"I don't have any offers right now," Voss said. "I'm hearing from a lot of schools and my favorites are Miami, South Florida, Michigan, North Carolina State and Florida State.

"I plan on camping at North Carolina State, Miami, South Florida, maybe Florida State again, I'm not sure though."

In 2005, Voss rushed for 1,100 yards and passed for 1,300 yards. He had 13 rushing touchdowns as well as 13 passing touchdowns.

Check back with as we hope to have highlights up soon.
