USF At Top Of List For JAX Safety

Charlton Sinclair from Mandarin High School has been offered by some of the top schools in the country, but right now he says USF is at the top of his list. Read on to see why he likes the Bulls and what other schools have offered.

Charlton Sinclair, who was one of the top defensive backs at the All-American Combine in Jacksonville back in March, has watched his offer list grow past a dozen. "I'm up to 13 offers now," Sinclair said. "Things have been going really well."

Sinclair, 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, listed his current top five with one school having the early edge.

"My top five right now is South Florida, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Illinois, and Auburn and all five of those have offered me," he said. "Number one is South Florida. I just really like the coaches there. Coach Douglas came from Indiana and he likes how I play. He said I'm the number one player in Jacksonville. I'm going to see 'em in July."

The Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin standout returned home from a camp at South Carolina, where his brother plays, recently.

"It was OK," he said. "Them and Florida have kinda dropped off my list."
