Recruiting Roundup 7/2

In today's recruiting roundup you get updates on two Pensacola area recruits. Both list USF as their top school and one of them has offers from UF, Alabama and Auburn. Find out why they like USF and when they'll make visits to Tampa. We also list a couple more kids who will be visiting the Bulls in the next few weeks. Only on USFNation.com

Terrell McClain DE, Pensacola High School- McClain is a defensive end that the Bulls are going hard after, and so far it looks to be paying off. He has offer from USF, Florida, Auburn and Alabama. However, he lists South Florida as his favorite in front of UF, Bama, Auburn and Florida State.

The biggest reason the Bulls lead is because Tampa is his hometown and he says he already has a good feel from the coaching staff. Last season he had 8 sacks and 56 tackles. McClain also told USFNation that he will be attending USF's one day camp at the end of July.

Kenneth Peaks OG, Woodham High School in Pensacola- At 6-foot-4 330 pounds it's hard to go unnoticed, but that's just what is happening to Kenneth Peaks. Right now he has a couple small school offers, but no big-time D1 offers. But things could change in the next couple weeks. He's been invited to the FSU camp, Georgia tech camps and also the camp at South Florida.

Peaks told us his top 3 has South Florida at the top, just ahead of Florida and UNC. He has never been to Tampa, but is excited to make his first visit at the end of July.

Other Notables:

Darren Poe of Lafayette High School will be attending USF's one day camp in July. He's a 6-foot-3 230 pound defensive end, who recorded 70 tackles last seaon.

Briley (Matt) Hale who we previously updated about a month ago has informed us that he has canceled his plans to attend USF's one day camp. However he has now set up an unofficial visit for the weekend of July 14th.
