"I'm hoping USF comes through," Hart said. "I went to their senior showcase camp and thought I threw pretty well. I ran a 4.57 in the 40. I was definitely one of the top QBs."
The Bradenton Southeast standout, 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, said he hasn't really thought too much about the recruiting process lately.
"I've just been focusing on our season," he said. "That's the biggest thing right now. We start on Friday against Palmetto. I'm gonna put up some big numbers this year."
Hart is hoping those big numbers catch the attention of the USF coaches.
"I was talking to Coach Smith, the quarterbacks coach, and he said he wants me. They lost two to grades and they need more this year. I really like their program and I'm trying to stay close to home so it would work out just right."
