Terrell McClain Recruiting Update

USFNation caught up with defensive tackle Terrell McClain to find out how his season is going, who he plans to visit, and we ask about the rumors that he may commit early. Read on to find out what he said.

After 5 games it's clear where the Bulls need to recruit. Running back and defensive line are musts this year. We've already hit on the RB's so now its time to address the line situation and one of the hottest prospects on the board is Terrell McClain of Pensacola. His team is off to a 4-1 start and McClain is having a terrific season with 41 tackles and 3 sacks. The 6-foot-2 265 pound run-stopper has been on the radar of South Florida for some time. He was offered early in this recruiting season and is still the focal point of their attention.

"I like USF a lot." Adding, "I'm in contact with the coaches pretty regularly."

McClain currently holds offers from Auburn, NC State and Miami to name a few. Alabama and Florida have also shown interest lately.

There have also been rumors that McClain could pull the trigger and make a commitment soon.

"I'm going to take all my official visits after the season, so I might commit before February, but it won't be until I take a few visits."

He's not sure who he'll visit yet, however USF is a likely candidate. Right now McClain lists his top three as UF, USF and Auburn. He lists Florida as number one even though they have yet to offer.

McClain would be a great addition to a line that could use as much depth next year as possible. Check back with USFNation to follow Terrell McCain and many other recruits as signing day approaches.
