Recruiting Roundup

In this story we take you out of the state and into Georgia where we update two monster prospects who each have offers from USF and plan to set visits. Also, updates on Tyler McDermott and Rudell Crim. Get 4 updates in 1, only on!

TE Nicolai Schwarzkopf, 6'4.5-230 (Chamblee, GA): Mentioned him on Sunday in "Quick Hits", his team went 8-2 this year, says its mainly a rushing team. Nicolai caught 11 passes and had 4 scores. He has offers from Duke, UAB, Kentucky, Harvard, USF and Air Force. Right now he has visits set for Harvard and Duke, but said he is in the process of setting up a visit with USF. He will take all his visits before deciding on a school.

DE/OLB Patrick Hampton, 6'3-215 (Lithonia, GA): Patrick started off by saying he speaks with coaches from USF once every week. He has offers from IU, Duke, Purdue, USF and Akron. No visits are currently set because his team is in the middle of a playoff run. After the season Hampton said he'll set his visits and USF will be one of them. With 50 tackles, 7 forced fumbles, 7 recoveries, 14 TFL and 10 sacks—I understand why Hampton calls himself a playmaker.

CB Rudell Crim, 5'11-188 (Tallahassee, FL): Also mentioned him in a story Sunday, he still hasn't worked out an exact date for a USF visit, but he assured me it will happen, possibly as early as this week. The date he wants is in mid January. Currently he has West Virginia and Illinois scheduled for visits.

OL Tyler McDermott, 6'2-270 (Wellington, FL): McDermott was on the sidelines for Saturdays game, said he got a chance to meet Leavitt. He was told by coach Leavitt that they want to see him as a Bull. He is "very interested" in USF and wouldn't mind being close to home. He set up a visit for January 19th. His only other visit right now is to Colorado State on the 8th of December.
