Bulls pick up their first true commitment from a running back. On thursday night Josh Bellamy from Boca Ciega in St. Petersburg committed to USF while being visited by Coach Leavitt.

"I chose USF because its close to home and I want to win a championship in Tampa."

This season he rushed for 966 yards and 11 touchdowns, just under 300 yards receiving and one receiving score.

"When I was at the one day camp at USF, I knew that was home. Coach Franks was great and I look forward to him being my coach.

Last season Bellamy only played in 8 games. "If he played in every game he would have had well over a thousand yards." Head Coach Stevie Thomas added, "The game he came back he rushed for over 120 yards."

Bellamy is scheduled to take a visit to Western Michigan, but now may miss the visit due to a snow storm. Its not sure if he will re-schedule, as Bellamy says he's 100% committed to USF.
