Terrell McClain How did you do this season?
Terrell McClain:  This season we did all right, we went 8-2 but didn't make the playoffs. Personally, I did good, I had 66 tackles, 7 tackles for losses and eight sacks. I also had one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries on the season.

USFN: How did it feel to be named Defensive MVP of the All-Star Game?
McClain:  It felt real good, I had an all right game, I had a sack and like six or seven tackles. I  was also invited to the Louisiana All-American game coming up on January 5th, I'm real excited about that.

USFN: Why did you choose USF?
McClain: I chose USF because that is my hometown, that where I was born, and I have a solid chance to possibly play early.

USFN: What other schools were in the running before you committed?
McClain: I had other offers but it was down to Miami, Auburn, and South Florida

USFN: How long have you been favoring Bulls?
McClain::  Since day one.

USFN: What are some of the things that you like about USF?
McClain::  The environment, it's a real nice school with good facilities, and  I like the coaches. I really love it there, and can't wait to get there.

USFN: Have you been following the Bulls this season?
McClain::  Yeah, I follow them, they did real good this year.

USFN: Did you watch the West Virginia game?
McClain: Yeah I remember that game real well.

USFN: Do you know any of the current players on the Bulls?
McClain: Yeah , one of the guys there went to the same school that I did, LaBrandon Glover. I played with him and we're good friends.

USFN: What style of a Player are you?
McClain:  I just play hard.

USFN: What type of a defense do you like to to run the most?
McClain: I like the 4-3, but I can play in any defense..

USFN: Do you play any other positions?
McClain: Well I play mostly defensive tackle, but I can  play some defensive end, and also a little tight end..

USFN: What are some of your strengths?
McClain: My Speed, and my knowledge of the game.

USFN: Is there anything you like to work on?
McClain: I like to work on my strength, can never be to strong.

USFN: What are you going to do to stay in shape before you get to Campus?
McClain: Work out, and run a lot, try and get my stamina up

USFN: Do you play any other sports?
McClain: Well I can play tennis, but nothing for the school.

USFN: Is there a player on another level, college or pro that you model your game after?
McClain: Yeah, I model myself out of many players not just one.

USFN: How are your grades?
McClain: I got a 2.5-2.6 GPA. and either 15 or a 16 on the ACT. I may have to take one class over next semester.

USFN: When did you decide to go to USF?
McClain: I was always high on USF, but committed to them on Tuesday..

USFN: Have you been to USF?
McClain: Yeah several times, I was there not to long ago for my birthday in November.

USFN: When was the last time that you lived in Tampa?
McClain: Not for awhile,  I left Tampa when I was seven or eight, then I moved to Tallahassee, then to Pensacola.

USFN: Are you going to make an official visit to USF?
McClain: Yeah. I hoping to take one in January.

USFN: Are you going to take any other official visits?
McClain: I'm not sure maybe, but I have nothing set..

USFN: Are you 100% committed to USF?
McClain: Yeah, pretty much.

USFN: What could possibly change that?
McClain: Umm if they get rid of all the coaches down there.
