The reason Jackson is so heavily recruited is because of his athleticism. Half the schools after him want him as a defensive tackle the other half, including USF, want him as an offensive tackle. He certainly has the speed and strength to play either, but the depth chart at USF is setup for him to play early on the O-Line.
With all the big time offers coming in, it was unsure if Jackson was still going to take his visit to South Florida. The USFNation.com staff caught up with Jackson during halftime of the MSL National All-Star game being held in Orlando on Saturday.
"I have visits set with Clemson and Florida State." Adding, "I will also be visiting USF this coming weekend."
Jackson says he'll be coming to Tampa alone and is interested in seeing what the Bull's have to offer. As far as his current top 5, it goes like this:
"My top 5 is Florida, Florida State, LSU, Clemson and West Virgina."
Although USF is not in the top 5 he says he's still considering them and will learn more about the program on his visit. It will be a tough road, but the Bulls staff has fought this battle before. Stick with USFNation.com as we talk with Jackson after his visit to South Florida.
