Recruiting Roundup

Before the tragic passing of Keeley Dorsey, this was supposed to be the biggest recruiting weekend of the year. USFNation caught up with the recruits who were supposed to come in. Find out if their plans changed and what effect it had on their recruitment. Updates include: Claude Davis, Chris Summers, Josh Miller, Terrell McClain and Patrick Hampton.

Patrick Hampton- Had a visit scheduled this weekend, he says it is now postponed for two weeks. Hampton says he planned on making a decision this weekend, but now Auburn has come in and said they might have an opening for him. He will visit them next weekend and find out if there is an offer. If not then expect him to commit to USF the following week. Right now his top 3 is Auburn, USF and Purdue.

Terrell McClain- Says he was informed by Coach Gregory on Thursday. McClain says he's still 100% committed to USF and he will not take any more visits, besides his official visit to USF in two weeks.

Claude Davis – The Bulls first commit made a late schedule change and actually visited Toledo this weekend. He has a visit to Michigan State next week (1/26), and Tennessee scheduled on 2/2, but said, "Whenever USF wants me to reschedule I will."

Chris Summers – This 6-5 195 All-conference receiver is committed to Louisville, but has said that the coaching change up there has opened things up to consider other schools. He is also close with Bulls receivers Amp Hill and Jason Sherman and is eager to visit and find out more about USF. "The USF coaches said they will call me next week and try and reschedule as of now nothing is set."

Josh Miller – A Receiver out of Palatka, was scheduled to visit USF this past weekend, and Central Florida next weekend. But is trying to reschedule a USF visit and said, "I'm gonna see if I can re-schedule it for next weekend. If USF wants me to visit, I'll go there," he said. "Really, the three schools I'm looking at are Louisville, South Florida, and Miami."
