The 6'3-245 pounds McGee chose the Bulls over FSU, Ole Miss, and Alabama.
"South Florida is a perfect place for me, really perfect place. I have a chance to play, I like the location, the area everything."
McGee was one of the top tight ends in Florida, finishing the season with over 315 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns. McGee turned heads at the 2B State Championship Game, where he caught 3 touchdowns against Trinity Catholic and was named the MVP of state title game.
"My strengths are my ability to block and my ability to catch the ball, and I like to hit also. The last time I ran the 40 I ran a 4.49" McGee, 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, made his official visit to USF this past weekend.
"I went up there and we had a real good time, we toured the campus, hung out with the players, went to a basketball game, and just had a real fun time up there." Said McGee, "My favorite part was going on the boat ride and eating."
"Were going have a nice team next year, a real nice team."
McGee still has some work to do on his test score, and is taking it again this Saturday.
"I'm excited to be a Bull, It feels good really good."
