The image Alton Voss- It's Official: Alton Voss Signs LOI 
Alton Voss, Quarterback, 6-2, 210, Holiday, Fla., Gulf
A dual threat quarterback. ranks him 36th top QB in country. Outstanding two-way player in high school at quarterback and defensive back. 1,600 passing and 600 rushing yards in 2006, he was named to St. Petersburg Times all-Suncoast Team as a first team defensive back. Led his team in interceptions and sacks and he blocked eight kicks. An all-Pasco County player in the Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times. Named all-Suncoast first team as a junior by the St. Petersburg Times in the utility position.  Voss ran for 1,104 yards and 13 touchdowns and threw for 1,314 and 13 scores while propelling a team that won only two games the previous season to within one win of the playoffs. Very versatile, he played defensive end, defensive tackle, linebacker, defensive back, kick returner and on the punt team. Threw for 1,152 yards and ran for 500 as a sophomore, when he threw seven TD passes. Will come in as a quarterback, but can play safety with equal intensity.


Mike Ford- Its' Official: Mike Ford Admitted to USF
Running Back, 6-2, 210, Sarasota, Fla., Sarasota
A four-star recruit, he ran for a state record 2,836 yards with 37 touchdowns in his 2004 senior season. Joined current Tennessee Titan Travis Henry as the only two Florida high school players to rush for 200-plus yards in 11 consecutive games. ool by SuperPrep. Class 5A Player of the Year in 2004 Originally a 2005 Alabama signee out of high school, he attended Hargrave Military Academy and played for the school's postgraduate team…Cousin to USF receiver Amarri Jackson. This could be the biggest signing by the Bulls ever, and he can contribute imediately.

Josh Bellamy-It's Official: Josh Bellamy Signs LOI  
Running Back, 6-0, 180, St. Petersburg, Fla., Boca Ciega
Rushed for 966 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2006. Boca Ciega MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. St. Petersburg Times Player of the Week in the fifth game of the season against intra-county rival Gibbs. Played for South in Pinellas County All-Star Game. First team all-county. Coached by Stevie Thomas, a former star with the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena League.  


Tyson Butler-It's Official: Tyson Butler Signs LOI  
Running Back, 5-11, 170, Ft. Myers, Fla., Cypress Lake

Ran for 1,928 yards with 27 touchdowns in 2006, Second team all-state in Class 4A. Class 4A District Player of the Year. First team all-area and all-county…Played in Florida's North-South All-Star Game in Lakeland and the Lee County All-Star Game. Ranked 71st in nation among runners by
Butler also has the potential to be a lock-down corner. With the acquisition of Bellamy and Ford, Butler's best option could  be corner.


Richard Kelly- It's Official: Richard Kelly Signs LOI.
Fullback, 6-0, 245, Bushnell, Fla., South Sumter
A first-team all-state choice in Class 2A, he had 1,200 yards on 145 carries, including 16 touchdowns, and  had 15 receptions for 285 yards with one TD.  Leesburg Daily Commercial Offensive Player of the Year. Played in Florida North-South All-Star Game in Lakeland. First team all-Lake/Sumter Counties by Orlando Sentinel, as well as second team all-Central Florida. Ranked 15th best fullback by Team captain and a member of the FACA District 8 All-Star team, Kelly is one of the most exciting players to watch in this years class. He has great size, and still runs a 4.7 forty. One of the best pickups in this years class.

Wide Receiver:

Patrick Richardson- It's Official: Patrick Richardson Signs LOI
Wide Receiver, 6-0, 175, Pensacola, Woodham
First team all-Northwest Florida in Pensacola News Journal. Nominated for Wendy's High School Heisman. Played in Pensacola East-West All-Star Game. 30 catches for 500 yards in senior season. 48 catches for 860 yards as a junior. Also accomplished in track & field as a junior. 45-1/2 in triple jump (5th in region) and 6-4 high jump (5th in region). Richardson runs a 4.4 40, he'll most likely redshirt due to the current depth at this position, otherwise he would probably see early playing time.

Dontavia Bogan- It's Official: Dontavia Bogan Signs LOI
Wide Receiver, 6-1, 185, Thomasville, Ga., Central County
Region I-AAAA Defensive Player of the Year. All-area as a receiver and free safety, and all-region at free safety. Five-time athlete of the week…Played in Georgia's North-South All-Star Game. All-state honorable mention. 28 receptions for 475 yards and three touchdowns, along with 70 tackles, three forced fumbles and five interceptions. Had 17 rushes for 295 yards and five TDs. Also returned kicks (22.7 avg.) and punts (7.8 avg).  Bogan is a "slash" type player who could also see time on defense and special teams.

Tight End:

Kavenski McGee- It's Official: Kavenski McGee Signs LOI
Tight End,  6-2, 250, Pahokee, Fla., Pahokee
Honorable mention all-state in Class 2B. First team all-area and all-district. Three catches for 109 yards with two TDs in winning the MVP of the state championship game, a  25-11 win over highly regarded Ocala Trinity in Class 2B. An outstanding possession receiver, he had 27 catches for 323 yards with four TDs on the season. Versatility allowed staff to use him some in backfield on short yardage downs. Had 11 carries for 123 yards and two TDs. 11 tackles and two sacks in defensive work. McGee bigs size, speed, and soft hands, something th Bulls have been looking for in the position

Tight End, 6-5, 255, Boca Raton, Fla., West Boca Raton
First team all-conference and second team all-Palm Beach County. Outback Palm Beach County All-Star Team. 15 catches for 160 yards with three TDs…Had two TDs against Forest Hill. Six catches for 84 yards as a junior. Also lettered in track and field…46.8 in shot put and 121'3 in discus. Taking advantage of the greyshirt should give McGowan the time he needs to develop, possibly into an o-line man

Offensive Line:

Lawrence McCoy-It's Official: Lawrence McCoy Signs LOI
Offensive Tackle, 6-6, 265, Valdosta, Ga., Valdosta
5A all-region choice,Participated in Georgia's North-South All-Star Game, an honor distinguishing him as one of the top 35 players in the South half of Georgia. Becomes the third Valdosta High graduate to play for the Bulls, joining tight end Cedric Hill and defensive back Carlton Williams. Started at left tackle since midway through his junior year. Led his team as a senior in every grade for offensive linemen, including pancakes. Very athletic with long arms providing a wide wingspan. Also lettered in wrestling. McCoy can motor for a big man, and with his mobility and reach, can run the complicated sets the Bulls employ.

Center, 6-1, 310, Lake City, Fla., Columbia
Second team all-state…Outstanding offensive lineman award at Columbia…Selected to Florida's North-South Shrine Bowl. Gainesville Sun all-area first team as a junior and senior. Sixth in state in power lifting as a junior. 420 bench and 305 power clean. National Honor Society. He'll probably redshirt this year, you'll definitely hear from him in the next few years.

Thomas Edenfield- It's Official, Edenfield Will Play For USF!
Offensive Tackle, 6-6, 310, Jacksonville, Fla., Bartram Trail
Ranked 47th best prospect in the State of Florida by the Orlando Sentinel. Class 5A all-state. Florida Times Union Super 11, Super 24, and Super 75. Ranked 83rd by Had played at Tallahassee Lincoln prior to moving to Jacksonville. Enjoyed an outstanding junior season at Bartram Trail before missing most of his senior season with a knee injury. Was a Max Emfinger Preseason All-America before the injury…Remained heavily recruited despite injury. Once his rehab is complete Edenfeild, could be that anchor the Bulls have been looking for.



Kevin McCaskill- It's Official: Kevin McCaskill Signs LOI
Center, 6-2, 290, Tallahassee, Fla., Godby
Third team all-state in Class 3A. Enrolled at USF in January and will participate this spring. Originally signed by the Bulls in February 2006. 95th ranked prospect in Florida's 2006 recruiting class by Orlando Sentinel. 23rd by Chosen to play in CaliFlorida All-Star Game. Was a Spring enrollee, and with the extra conditioning could compete immediately at Center.

Jeremiah Warren- It's Official: Jeremiah Warren Signs LOI
Offensive Lineman, 6-4, 320, Panama City, Fla., Bay
Class 3A Honorable Mention all-state. All-county as a junior and senior. Enrolled at USF in January and will participate this spring. Originally signed with the Bulls in February 2006.   58 tackles with six sacks as a senior. 32-0 as a senior in wrestling, he finished sixth in the state as a junior. Two-time district champ. Also accomplished in shot put and discus. Won district and regional titles in both events three times. Had 10 varsity letters in football, wrestling and track and field. Being a spring enrollee, with a winter of team conditioning under his belt, he could see time this year.

Defensive Line:

Terrell McClain- Its Official: Terrell McClain Signs LOI
Defensive Lineman, 6-3, 295, Pensacola, Fla., Pensacola
Class 3A first team all-state
. MVP in Max Emfinger Shreveport All-American Bowl Game. Also won MVP of Pensacola East-West All-Star Game. 63rd ranked player by 65 tackles with eight sacks as a senior.  McClain has the size the Bulls were looking for, and he could be one of the few recruits from this class to see immediate playing time.

Darren Powe- It's Official: Darren Powe Signs LOI
Defensive End, 6-3, 237, Mayo, Fla., Lafayette

First team all-state in Class 1A. 78 tackles, including 16 for losses. Eight sacks. .Most Outstanding Defensive Player and a co-captain on team. Attends same high school as USF receiver Marcus Edwards. Lettered four times in football and three in basketball. Cousin of NFL first round pick Reggie McGrew.

Kyle Dampier- It's Official: Kyle Dampier Signs LOI
Defensive Line, 6-4, 265, Merritt Island, Fla., Merritt Island
Class 4A third team all-state. First team all-Space Coast and all-district. Ranked 10th best defensive tackle in the state in the Orlando Sentinel's preseason poll in 2006. Ranked 68th best defensive tackle by Had 88 tackles with eight sacks in 2006. Helped Merritt Island to Class 4A regional semi-finals against St. Augustine Nease. Participated in track & field as well.  Another big boy, very athletic at 6'3 275 Dampier could also play on the offensive line.

Claude Davis- It's Official: Claude Davis Signs LOI
Defensive End, 6-4, 240, Lakeland, Fla., Lake Gibson
First team Class 5A all-state…First team all-Polk County. Ranked 78th top prospect in the state by Orlando Sentinel. Ranked 39th  at position nationally by Participated in State North-South All-Star Game, played in his hometown of Lakeland. Played at same high school as USF quarterback Matt Grothe. Athletic and agile with long arms and big hands. Davis will be a monster coming off his defensive end position for years to come.

David FonuaIts' Official: David Fonua Enrolled at USF
Defensive End, 6-2, 255, Bradenton, Fla., Southeast
Ranked 93rd top prospect in Florida by Orlando Sentinel in 2006 recruiting class. Second team all-state in Class 4A. Enrolled at USF in January and will participate this spring. Originally signed with the Bulls in February 2006.  Had 71 tackles and 13 sacks. Played in PAL Bowl for Manatee County All-Stars. Defensive standout in 14-6 win over Sarasota County, helping the defense limit Sarasota to 136 total yards. Invited to play in Florida North-South All-Star Game but chose to sit out with a minor injury. .Named to Big7Gridiron (Polynesian players) second team all-defensive front seven. Two-time Sarasota Herald Tribune first team all-area selection.

Patrick Hampton- It's Official: Patrick Hampton Signs LOI
Defensive End, 6-3, 220, Lithonia, Ga., Martin Luther King

Region's Defensive Player of the Year as a senior when he had 77 tackles, including 10 sacks and 19 tackles for loss. Also caused five fumbles and recovered three. Blocked one punt and one field goal. All-DeKalb County and an all-Region player as a junior and senior. Honorable mention all-state as a senior
. He is fast and athletic, could be moved to outside linebacker.

Corian Garrison- In The End, Corian Garrison Picks USF!
Defensive Tackle, 6-4, 295, Starke, Fla., Bradford
Class 2A first team all-state. First team all-all district and all-area (Gainesville Sun). Super 11 by Gainesville Sun as well. Played in Shrine Bowl. Had 60 tackles, four sacks and seven tackles for loss in 2006. Also played some fullback and tight end in short yardage. Garrison choose between  two Big East rivals USF and WVU on signing day. 



Calvin Sutton- It's Official: Calvin Sutton Signs LOI
Linebacker, 6-0, 210, DeLand, Fla., DeLand
Class 6A second team all-state. First team all-Volusia County by Orlando Sentinel. First team all-area and all-district. Played in Central Florida All-Star Game. has him ranked 31st among national middle linebackers and 100th overall in Florida. As a junior, he had 116 tackles, eight sacks, nine tackles for loss and 54 "big plays".  An absolute steal for USF. Most considered him, Big 3 talent but somehow he flew under the radar and got scooped up by the Bulls.

Donte Spires- Its' Unofficial Donte Spires Signs LOI, But... Linebacker, 6-3, 220, Tampa, Fla., Plant, Pearl River
Donte Spires sent in his LOI Wednesday, but it was missing his guardians signature, this should be resolved by Friday. Spires was a top prospect out of Tampa in '05 recording 132 tackles as a senior, including 101 solos, 11 stops for loss, including two sacks, he then spent the last two years at Pearl river CC. He's fast running a 4.5-40, and has a bit of a mean streak to him.
. With the loss of Nicholas and St. Louis it is good the staff is bringing in someone with experience to help ease the transition. Spires is expected to play right away.

Keith McCaskill- Its Official: Keith McCaskill Signs LOI
Linebacker, 6-1, 245, Tallahassee, Fla., Godby
First team all-state and first team all-Big Bend. Also won Big Bend honor as a junior. 85 tackles, four caused fumbles, five sacks and nine tackles for loss. Had 95 tackles, with eight for losses as a junior. Brother of USF freshman center Kevin McCaskill…


Defensive Backs:

Charlton Sinclair- It's Official: Charlton Sinclair Signs LOI
Defensive Back, 5-11, 190, Jacksonville, Fla., Mandarin

First team all-First Coast. Ranked 76th nationally at his position by and 93rd overall prospect in Florida. Florida Times Union Super 11 and Super 24 pick. Top 24 players are selected postseason, while Super 11 are a preseason team. Had 90 tackles with five sacks in 2006, two interceptions and one fumble recovery. . Son of Ray Sinclair, who played for the Seattle Seahawks. .Brother Gerard is a linebacker at South Carolina. Four-year letterman. Team defensive MVP and Most Athletic as a senior. Sinclair plays a smash-mouth style from his safety position, almost like having another linebacker on the field.

Quenton Washington- It's Official: Washington Signs LOI
Defensive Back, 5-10, 170, Ft. Myers, Fla., North Ft. Myers
Second team all-state in Class 5A. First team all-district and all-conference. MVP of Lee County North-South All-Star Game. Had 12 interceptions (231 yards) with four touchdowns, to go with 57 tackles, one fumble recovery and 11 passes defended in 2006, including five games with two interceptions in each.  Had two interceptions for touchdowns (both for 33 yards) against Cape Coral Baker. Caught a 53-yard TD pass and returned an interception for a 45-yard TD against Cape Coral Mariner. Had 20-yard interception return for a TD against Charlotte High.. On Offense he had 26 receptions for 474 yards with five touchdowns. Had 40-yard TD catch in Class 5A Region Final against Bradenton Manatee. Also played basketball and ran track. Washington is another hidden gem in this year's class, Washington quietly committed to the Bulls early in the season before putting up huge offensive and defensive numbers, therefore is a bit underrated. With his speed, an ball hawing qualities, should make an impact with the Bull, if not this year then next.
