Thomas Edenfield I felt very comfortable there. When I was there, It felt like home. The coaches are real good people, they really care, they got some real good people in Tampa. I hung out with Matt Huners and Nick Capogna, they're real close, everybody is the whole team is , I really liked that
USFN: What are some of the things that you like about USF?
Edenfield: They are definitely an up an coming football program. I think they got a real good chance of winning the BIG EAST this year. and they're coming up. Also they got a real good academic program, and I like that. I'm looking at majoring business right now.
USFN: Have you been following the Bulls this season?
Edenfield: As far as football a little bit, not a lot, I was busy with school and rehab. But one of my friends Keeley Dorsey, the back that passed away, I played with him at Lincoln. He was the quarterback when I played, and I talked to him every once in awhile and he filled me in on the team.
USFN: How long have the Bulls been recruiting you, and who were involved?
Edenfield: They started off probably when I just started my senior year. I had offers from like Florida, FSU, Auburn, everywhere. Then I tore my ACL, and everybody kind of backed off, but South Florida stayed right in there, and recruited me hard towards the end there. Coach Troy Douglas, coach Frey, who is no longer there, and Coach Leavitt recruited me.
USFN: Which coach made the biggest impression on you during your recruitment?
Edenfield: I felt real comfortable with Coach Leavitt, he's a real good guy, coach Simmonds the O-line coach, he's a first year at as O-line coach but he seams like a real good guy too. we got along great. I'm ready to play ball for him.

USFN: What type of defense do you like to see when you get to the line?
Edenfield: I like to see a guy head up. I like to see skinny fast guys, that think their real fast off the edge, I like that. But I don't mind limning up with a big defensive tackle, it don't bother me one bit.
